I am a recovering editor who writes speculative fiction and drama. When I was an editor, I worked on professional books in technology and textbooks for college writing and literature courses.
Since leaving editing behind, I’ve been working for financial institutions and technology companies: I’ve made marketplaces. I’ve analyzed cybersecurity data. I’ve created products to host content.
During that time, I have been scribbling down observations about how markets transform people, about how technology accelerates that transformation, and about how all that confounds what we do “for a living,” in place of living.
I don’t post photos of myself, but imagine the most annoying person in your writing class mixed with your fun aunt/uncle and your favorite curmudgeon. That’s me.
