Hello.
I’m SB Morrison, and this is my author site. However, I purposely didn’t want it to look like an author site.
The landing page looks like a terminal emulation, and the home page looks like the status page of a network service called “Author.” The former is a nod to the world building I attempt in my writing; the latter is a nod to our own tendency to describe ourselves as machines or using technological terms. Like, when people talk about their “bandwidth” and not their time, effort, or energy.
I generally write speculative drama / fiction about the interplay between people and technology and capital, and the larger bearing on the world. So, a site that looks like this fits me.
Let me know what you think.
